Maternity Portrait Sessions: When you are expecting a new addition to the family, everything changes. I help the pregnant Mums-to-be who I photograph to look and feel as gorgeous as they are. Partners and children are welcome to be included in the session, which can be on-location or in my studio near Te Awamutu. I have a few maternity gowns that you are welcome to wear during all or part of your session. Sessions usually last up to an hour, and reflect the package chosen (starting at $399). I take a lot of pride in individually editing your photos with a classic, "clean and true" editing style that will not date. Photos are edited in colour as well as black-and-white.
Birth Photography: Birth photography is amazing. It tastefully depicts the wonder, emotions, and story of birth, from established labour to meeting your baby earthside. I am an experienced birth photographer, and have had four children of my own. I am happy to meet with you and share full galleries of images taken during a birth, and discuss how birth photography works. It's fine if you are a little unsure, and you want to see if it's what you want. Photographs are provided in full resolution in both colour and black-and-white, on a vintage whitewash wooden USB and box in full resolution. Professional prints and albums are available. Newborn Photography: There is nothing as precious and perfect as your newborn baby. They change and grow so fast. Those early days can disappear in a blur of amazement, exhaustion, recovery, excitement and fear all rolled into one. Photography can help to capture the fleeting "newness" of your baby. Choose between a photojournalistic lifestyle session in your home, or posed in-studio session. Posed sessions are best held within 10 days of birth if you want the curly, sleepy images.
